Цифровая трансформация экономики обусловливает необходимость глубокого анализа факторов, определяющих региональные различия в использовании цифровых технологий организациями. Актуальность исследования определяется потребностью в выявлении и систематизации ключевых аспектов цифровизации на уровне хозяйствующих субъектов, что имеет принципиальное значение для разработки эффективных стратегий регионального развития и преодоления цифрового неравенства. В статье рассматриваются теоретические основы цифровизации и цифровой трансформации, оцениваются текущие тенденции и масштабы цифровизации экономики на глобальном, национальном и региональном уровнях с особым вниманием к динамике электронной коммерции как одного из проявлений развития этих процессов. Обосновывается недостаточность анализа исключительно рынков электронной коммерции для комплексной оценки цифрового развития территорий. Предлагается методика расчета интегрального индекса цифровизации организаций (ИИЦО). На основе ИИЦО проводится анализ региональной дифференциации цифрового развития организаций в России, выявляются регионы-­лидеры и аутсайдеры. Осуществляется сопоставление уровня цифровизации организаций с показателями экономического развития регионов для оценки репрезентативности предложенного индекса.

The digital transformation of the modern economy necessitates a thorough analysis of the factors determining regional differentiation in the use of digital technologies by organizations. The relevance of the study is driven by the need to identify and systematize key aspects of digitalization at the level of economic entities, which is crucial for developing effective regional development strategies and overcoming the digital divide. This paper examines the theoretical foundations of digitalization and digital transformation, assesses current trends and the scale of economic digitalization at global, national, and regional levels, with particular attention to e-commerce dynamics as a manifestation of these processes. The insufficiency of analyzing e-commerce markets alone for a comprehensive assessment of territorial digital development is substantiated, and a methodology for calculating the Integral index of organizations’ digitalization (IIOD) is proposed. Based on the IIDO, an analysis of regional differentiation in the digital development of organizations in Russia is conducted, identifying leading and lagging regions. The level of digitalization of organizations is compared with regional economic development indicators to assess the representativeness of the proposed index.
